Jenolan State Forest

I hope you’re all well 🙂 It’s Wednesday here in Sydney, Australia & its a sunny day but VERY cold. Haha, us Australians think 15 degrees is cold, whereby some countries think 15 degrees is HOT. (I am talking celsius)

How was every ones weekend? I went about 3 hours away to Jenolan State Forest, this area is known for caving etc but we went into the forest section & was driving through there. We also went to for a lovely long hike to a suspension bridge & faced a few fears 🙂

I got a lot of steps on my Fitbit that day (Speaking of Fitbit, thank you to those that have added me on Fitbit & have been doing challenges with me, I am having so much fun doing this, it is also very motivating)

We then came back to the campaign ground & had some lunch (We brought some food from home to make our own sandwiches, which was yummy)

On the way out of the forest, we took another exit, as the mountain got higher, the temperature was dropping which meant… IT SNOWED! Now, I have never seen snow fall from the sky, only ever seen it already fallen onto the ground, so it was an AMAZING experience to see it fall from the sky.

Hope everyone is well after a beautiful long weekend. happy Easter to those that celebrate Easter & to those that don’t, I pray you all had a lovely break.

I know I most certainly got spoilt from my family & friends, I am so appreciative of the effort my loved ones go to spoil me with chocolate for Easter.

The amount of chocolate I got, you could sink a SHIP, haha! (not really.. but really!)

Did any of you lovely people get chocolate? I know I ate A LOT of chocolate over the weekend – WORKING OUT HARD AT THE GYM, BURNING IT ALL OFF NOW. (Stay tuned for my workout blogs coming soon)

I feel guilty when I eat chocolate, I am at constant war with myself when I eat ‘bad’ But then I also think ‘HEY, YOU CAN TREAT YOURSELF!’

Coming back to work this week was hard after having 4 days off, I was most certainly not in the mindset for it. I tend to get mentally affected by sugar & it plays with my anxiety – (I will do a post shortly on how sugar affects your anxiety)

A Weekend of Fun

Hello lovely people ❤

It’s Tuesday morning here in Sydney, Australia – I was SLAMMED at work yesterday so I couldn’t write, I could only respond to peoples comments form the weekend & thats about it.

BUT… I am here today to share my weekend with you all, I had such a lovely weekend & hope to have more like this coming up to Summer.

On Saturday morning, I went to the gym & washed my car (I always need to wash my car), I than went to purchase an Acai bowl & head to the cemetery. My grandfather has been passed now for 10 years & I went to purchase some flowers & spend some time there. His location is very peaceful & very different to your ‘typical cemetery’

There is a beautiful waterfall & beautiful quotes all around, I love it there, its a lovely place to relax & reflect, spend time with my grandfather & pray.

I love coming here often, I don’t come as often as I should bc I am always so busy but I pray to start coming here more often.

I always leave so happy & relaxed.

Some people don’t like cemeteries & I respect that so I apologise if I have offended anyone with this post.

After I spent some time at the cemetery, I than went to grab some lunch & head home.

When I got home, my parents announced that we were going to have some dins & play Aqua Golf w/ my family & my sister fiances family.

WHAT A FUN NIGHT, I had so much fun. I threw my shoulder out playing Aqua Golf.

Aqua Golf is where you buy a bucket of golf balls & hit them into the water, the aim is the get the ball into the nets out in the water & if you do, you can win money.

 

Haha, out of ALL of us, not one of us won.

I woke up the next day with such a sore shoulder & sore rib cages, haha.

On Sunday, I went to Auntys house which was lovely to spend time with family.

It was nice to relax, switch off & have a tea & relax with loved ones around me.

When I returned home, I went grocery shopping for the week. (I will do a separate post on this)

 

I purchased breakfast & lunch for the whole week, than came home & prepped everything, so I was happy with that.

I pray everyone had a lovely weekend, I would love to hear what you got up to on the weekend, I am all ears 🙂

Summer is coming & I am so excited to be outdoors this summer, soaking up the sun & enjoying time around family & loved ones.
